to md1BlueKnights.org. St. Ann's Infant and Maternity home is Marland
1's primary charity. In 1860, St. Ann's opened it's doors to children
and women when three Daughters of Charity recognized the need to provide
suffering from poverty and war. Three years later, President Abraham Licoln
signed an Act of In-corporation officially recognizing St. Ann's. St.
Ann's logo carries the mesage, A Tradition of Caring. For nearly 150 years
that tradition of caring has been lived actively through the good work
of the staff, the donors and the volunteers.

Dear Friends:
Due to the generosity of so many who donated to St. Ann;s over the holiday season, both our needs and our storage space are very limited at this time. So, while we greatly appreciate your thoughfulness, in-kind donatation are not St. Ann's greatest need. Due to the economic climate, we desperately need your financial donations. So, if you were planning to spend $5, $10 or $20 on diapers, clothes, or other items, please consider donating that amount to St. Ann's so we can meet our operating expenses.
Our licensing requires us to have staff on hand to care for our residents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. We cannot pay our wonderful staff in-kind donations. We need to raise money to meet our payroll. Monetary donations this Christmas were down 10% from last year. So please contribute financially if you can.
However, if your are not comfortable making a financial donation, below are the items that we can currently use. Please check our website at www.stanns.org/donate.jsp for updates.
Vaseline, Baby Wipes, Aveeno Products, Pull Ups, Eucerin Cream/Lotiom, Deodorant, Diapers in sizes 4/5/6 only, Gifts cards from Target, Wal-mart, Kmart, Giant & Safeway, Aquaphor, Similac Advance Formula-this is the only type of formula we need.
